Jazz Multimedia Introduces G-Force 3DX Graphics Accelerator Using S3's New ViRGE DX Graphics Engine; New state-of-the-art DX technology incorporated into Jazz Multimedia's family of graphics accelerator cards

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 1997--Jazz Multimedia Inc. today announced the latest in their line of graphics accelerator cards with the addition of the G-FORCE 3DX.
The Jazz G-FORCE 3DX incorporates S3's latest 2D/3D graphics engine, the ViRGE DX. Advanced features of the DX include an integral 170MHz RAMDAC and 75MHz EDO memory support.
The Jazz G-FORCE 3DX delivers two-dimensional graphics acceleration, DOS games acceleration, and 3D acceleration all in one high-resolution graphics solution with Microsoft's DirectX architecture. The G-FORCE 3DX is super accelerated with the Jazz custom optimized Xtreme Windows 95 driver for extended performance enhancement that is up to 30% faster than ordinary drivers.
