MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 1997--American Bankers Insurance Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ABIGP) Tuesday announced that its board of directors declared a dividend on the company's $3.125 Series B Convertible Preferred Stock of $0.78125 per share, payable Feb. 1, 1997, to preferred shareholders of record on Jan. 28, 1997.
