Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. announces ISO certification of Reliance MetalCenter

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 1997--Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (NYSE:RS), Monday announced that its Reliance MetalCenter, National City (San Diego), Calif., division has been certified to the ISO 9002 Quality Standards by Det Norske Veritas Certification Inc.

This is the first division of the company to receive its ISO certification, which should be completed for remaining divisions throughout 1997.

Reliance MetalCenter specializes in the processing and distribution of carbon steel plate, bar, structural products and wide flange beams for the Southern California and Mexico markets.
