Micron Technology, Inc., announces appointment of James Bagley to Board of Directors

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1997--Micron Technology, Inc. ("Micron"), today announced that James W. Bagley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OnTrak Systems, Inc., a San Jose, California based semiconductor equipment supplier ("OnTrak"), has been appointed to Micron's Board of Directors. Prior to joining OnTrak, Mr. Bagley spent 15 years with Applied Materials, Inc. ("Applied"), where he held a number of positions including President, Vice Chairman, and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Applied, Mr. Bagley served for 15 years with Texas Instruments ("TI") where he was the Vice President and General Manager of TI's Automation Systems Division. OnTrak is currently in the process of being acquired by Lam Research, Inc.("Lam"). Lam has announced that upon consummation of the OnTrak acquisition, Mr. Bagley will become Lam's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bagley holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
