Strategia selected to provide Year 2000 service to Logan Aluminum

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1997--Strategia Corp. (OTC BB:STGI) announced today that the company has been selected to provide Year 2000 services to Logan Aluminum Inc., a joint venture of ARCO Aluminum Inc., a subsidiary of Atlantic Richfield Co., and Alcan Aluminum Corp.
Strategia will conduct an enterprise-wide impact analysis of information systems to assess the operational and financial risks of the Year 2000 problem to Logan Aluminum. This will encompass a comprehensive analysis of mainframe systems, mid-range systems, LANs, desktop computing and plant automation.
Following the impact analysis, Strategia will complete a magnitude assessment to analyze the computer code itself to identify date usages where problems can occur. Logan Aluminum estimates this to encompass approximately three to four million lines of program code. As part of the impact analysis, Strategia will recommend the tools and techniques necessary to renovate the code to be Year 2000 compliant.
