Hilton Gaming appoints casino marketing executives

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1997--Hilton Gaming Corp. Tuesday announced the appointment of two senior casino marketing executives.
Jim Bradshaw has been named senior vice president, casino marketing, and Lawrence E. Altschul has joined the company as assistant vice president of marketing.
Based in Nevada at the Las Vegas Hilton, Bradshaw will oversee on-property casino marketing, player development, casino special events and VIP services. His additional responsibilities include supervising branch offices and independent agents for all Hilton gaming properties. Bradshaw reports to Dean Harrold, president and chief operating officer of the Las Vegas Hilton.
Prior to joining Hilton, Bradshaw served as vice president, southwest region, for Caesars World Marketing. He began his gaming- industry career in 1977 in income control at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
He remained at Caesars Palace for 10 years, holding a variety of positions, including assistant casino controller, customer analysis manager and casino administrator. In 1986, he joined Caesars World Marketing as chief administrative officer.
A native of Annapolis, Md., Bradshaw earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and attended Cornell University Law School. He is married and has three children.
Altschul, based at Hilton's newly opened New York marketing office, located in the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria hotel, is responsible for marketing all Hilton gaming properties to high-end clientele throughout the TriState region. He reports to Ken Condon, executive vice president of operations for Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City, N.J.
Most recently, Altschul served as director of casino marketing for Caesars World's New York office, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining the premium player customer base.
Altschul began his gaming career as an assistant to the corporate director of marketing at the Sahara Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He has also served as director of casino marketing at the Sahara and director of casino services for Caesars Tahoe.
A native of New Jersey, Altschul earned a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant administration from the University of Nevada- Las Vegas. He is married and has three children.
