OBIT/ADP Treasurer Joseph B. Pirret dies

ROSELAND, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 26, 1997--Joseph B. Pirret, 56, treasurer of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., president of the company's Treasury Services division and a member of ADP's executive committee, died suddenly Tuesday, June 24th.

Mr. Pirret joined ADP as assistant treasurer in 1974, was appointed staff vice president in 1980, treasurer in 1983, corporate vice president in 1988 and division president in 1994.

He previously held various financial management positions with Ford Motor Company, General Foods, and Elgin.

He received a BS in Economics from CCNY, an MS from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business where he also studied for his Doctorate degree.

He resided in Tewksbury, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Milagros (Millie), a son, Joseph, Jr., and three daughters, Suzanne, Michelle and Leonora Konegen, who lives in Eugene, Oregon with her husband, Keith, and daughter, Lorelie.
