iMALL Inc. retains Geller & Friend Capital Partners Inc. as investment advisors

Los Angeles-based merchant bank will assist Internet company
with long-term financial strategies and in
evaluating growth opportunities
iMALL Inc. (OTC BB:IIML) Friday said it has retained Geller & Friend Capital Partners Inc., a Los Angeles-based merchant bank, as investment advisors.
The company said the advisor, which specializes in serving the needs of middle market growth companies, has been engaged to assist iMALL with the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies and in identifying and evaluating potential growth opportunities.

Among Geller & Friend's initial undertakings, the company said, will be an assessment of iMALL's capital structure and the various options available to the company.
The company also said it decided, prior to the engagement of Geller & Friend, not to proceed with a proposed, previously-announced institutional private placement of $4.8 million and the simultaneous recontribution by the three founders of a total of 8.1 million common shares.
iMALL is a leading Internet company engaged in Internet commerce, education and other related services, including Web site development and hosting.
Its popular Web site (http://www.imall.com) hosts what the company believes is the Internet's largest internally-managed shopping mall with more than 1,500 merchants and in excess of 15 million "hits" per month. The site also offers centers providing a variety of services including career guidance and opportunities, travel, finance and discount shopping.
