PaineWebber names Richard K. Ronzetti to lead Emerging Markets Bond Research

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1997--PaineWebber Incorporated announced today that Richard K. Ronzetti has joined the firm as a managing director and head of Emerging Markets Research in the Global Fixed Income Division.
"Richard's appointment underscores our commitment to providing the high quality research that today's emerging markets demand," said J.J. McKoan, managing director in charge of the firm's Corporate Bond, Emerging Market and High Yield departments. "Our clients will benefit not only from his considerable experience in emerging market sovereign and corporate analysis, but also from his background in the high- yield business."
Mr. Ronzetti had been with Smith Barney, where he was senior analyst and vice president in charge of Emerging Markets Fixed Income Research. Before that he had researched and structured private debt and equity investments in Latin America for IFINT-USA (now EXOR-America), the principal overseas investment arm of the Agnelli Group. Previously, Mr. Ronzetti worked in corporate and real estate finance with Morgan Stanley & Company and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Mr. Ronzetti holds an A.B. in Government and Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
