ChiroNet signs multi-year agreement with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BW HealthWire)--June 5, 1997--ChiroNet, Inc., signed a multi-year agreement with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon to continue to provide chiropractic health care services to Regence BCBSO enrollees. The agreement carries the successful ChiroNet/RegenceBCBSO relationship through the year 2000.
Richard D. Brinkley, President and CEO of ChiroNet, and James E. Connolly, Assistant Vice President of Provider Contracting, spent several months working out the details of the agreement. "Jim Connolly and I spent considerable time building on our successful relationship in order to arrive at an agreement that is good for not only our respective organizations, but also and more importantly, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon enrollees," commented Richard Brinkley.
James Connolly said, "ChiroNet has performed well since we began offering a managed care product in 1992, and this new long term agreement assures greater predictability for our managed chiropractic care product."
