All American Semiconductor announces all locations agreement with Astec America Power Conversion Products

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 1997--All American Semiconductor Inc. (Nasdaq:SEMI), a leading national distributor of electronic components, has signed an agreement to distribute products manufactured by Astec America Inc. This authorization permits All American to distribute Astec's extensive range of power conversion products in all locations in North America.

Astec is the world's largest merchant power supply manufacturer. With headquarters in Hong Kong and stock traded on the London stock exchange, Astec is truly a worldwide and world class supplier of standard, modified and custom power supplies. Their catalog product line, ranging from 1 Watt to 3000 Watts, includes AC/DC switchmode and linear supplies, DC/DC converters and customer power systems.
