U.S. Environmental Firm Announces First ISO 14001 Registrations: Lockheed Martin Radar Plant, Synair Polyurethane Plant

Business Wire, March 12, 1997

"Sooner or later," said Ellis, "every U.S. manufacturer will have to attend to ISO 14000 if the company sells internationally, or to the U.S. government, or to other large manufacturers. Companies that have been out front in dealing with these issues simply need to formalize their procedures. The less sophisticated companies have a job ahead of them, but the leaders really have it done already." -0- Note to Editors: Full releases available for: Lockheed Martin's registration to ISO 14001, Synair's registration to ISO 14001, Advanced Waste Management's accreditation as a registrar.
