Earthlink launches single-solution premium Web site package

Wednesday at Internet World, EarthLink Network Inc. (NASDAQ:ELNK), a nationwide Internet access provider, announced the expansion of its Web hosting services with the launch of its "Premium Web Site" package.

EarthLink's new premium package offers a single business Internet solution that includes a Web site, a dial-up Internet access account, multiple email accounts, Microsoft FrontPage support, and much more. Also announced as part of EarthLink's line-up of high performance Web site hosting services is the addition of a 10MB Web site.

The expansion of EarthLink's business service offerings is part of the company's strategic effort to deliver a variety of useful and relevant tools and products particularly designed for businesses looking to establish - or broaden - their Internet presence.

EarthLink's Premium Web Site package offers substantial savings over individual purchases. The 10MB Premium Web Site, which will be EarthLink's entry-level package, is priced at $139 per month plus a $229 set-up fee. Comparatively, if these services were purchased separately, they could cost more than $235 per month. The Web site package was developed by EarthLink's Business Services division and will be available to customers nationwide starting March 12, 1997.

The Premium Web Site package brings together the most popular and useful Internet applications for the business customer, including unique domain sites in sizes of 10, 30, 60 and 100MB, an EarthLink Internet access account, a choice of star addressing (an unlimited number of email aliases delivered to one mailbox) or five email accounts, Microsoft's FrontPage support -- an advanced, integrated, vendor-independent client/server visual authoring environment for Internet and Intranet sites -- and DeltaPoint's Quick Site Lite, an easy-to-use Web creation tool that enables customers to get started quickly.

All EarthLink unique domain Premium Web Sites, with the exception of the 5MB site, fully support CGI scripts, multimedia Internet applications such as audio, video, animation, 3D effects and includes daily hit logs and 1.5GB of free monthly traffic to the Web site.

Microsoft FrontPage enables customers to easily and rapidly create, deploy, maintain and administer a sophisticated Web site, including professional quality Web pages and interactive functions typically found only on advanced - and costly - sites.

EarthLink's Business Services division also provides a dedicated business technical support team to guide members through any questions or problems they may have in creating and administering their Web sites.
