SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 1997--Ed Patriquin of Wyse Technology, the leading manufacturer of network computers, will share the company's vision of the expanding network computer (NC) market at next week's UniForum network computer seminar in Austin, Texas. Patriquin will address the pros and cons of network computers in relationship to personal computers and terminals to an audience of information technology (IT) professionals, system integrators and end users at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 1997. UniForum, the International Association of Open Systems Professionals, is holding the network computer seminar at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas, showcasing industry leaders, analysts and end users, to enlighten the public on the reality and misconceptions of the network computer.
"The term 'network computer' has been overused to the point that many people have become confused as to what exactly is a network computer and what isn't," said Patriquin. "As the leader in network and thin-client computing, Wyse is able to use industry expertise and 'real world' feedback to clarify the best uses of this technology."
Wyse Technology has become the NC industry leader by leveraging its experience as the world's largest supplier of advanced ASCII/ANSI terminals and thin-client devices.
