Unisys Federal Systems awarded ADP support services contract from U.S. Dept. of Agriculture

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 1997--Unisys Corp. announced Wednesday that its Federal Systems Division has been awarded a contract from the United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) to provide automatic data processing (ADP) support services such as software development, maintenance and data center management to its headquarters and field offices.
This is a five-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that has a potential value to Unisys of $37 million.
Under the contract, Unisys will provide services such as software applications development and maintenance; data center management; telecommunications engineering and installation; imaging systems support and geographical information systems services. Services will be available to all USDA agencies.
Unisys team members are: Abacus Technology Corp.; Computer Systems Engineering; Computer Technology Services Inc.; KPMG Peat Marwick; MATCOM2; Open Universal Software; Pulse Technologies Inc.; SAIC; Soza and Company Ltd.; Statistica Inc.; and Worldwide Solutions Inc.
Unisys Federal Systems Division is already providing similar services to USDA under the Rural Development ADP Support Services contract awarded in June 1995.
