FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 1997--SyQuest Technology (NASDAQ: SYQT), a world leader in removable cartridge hard drives, today announced a new, internal enhanced IDE version of its award-winning EZFlyer(TM) 230 drive in response to market demand for the ease of installation and the lowest cost of connection that EIDE affords. The EZFlyer 230 internal EIDE, the only removable cartridge hard drive available in this configuration, will plug directly into the same connector as the primary hard drive, requiring no additional hardware. Priced at U.S. $199 MSRP, initial shipments of the drive are planned for April and volume delivery in May.
