CBIS and Cox Communications San Diego announce billing system conversion

CINCINNATI, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 1997--Cox Communications San Diego and CBIS (R) announce a customer management and billing system conversion. Cox Communications recently converted its more than 474,000 customers in the San Diego area to CBIS's CableMaster (TM) 2000 solution under provisions of a contract signed last year.
CableMaster 2000's on-line, real-time, relational database will enable Cox Communications employees in San Diego to provide more responsive, efficient, and comprehensive customer assistance. Cox Communications will achieve strategic advantages from increased functionality in its subscriber management and billing system, greater control of its customer data, and greater economy of operation.
