Group Technologies Awarded Contract By Litton Data Systems For Circuit Card Assemblies

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 1997--Group Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:GRTK) today announced that it has been awarded a new contract for $4.3 million by Litton Data Systems to manufacture electronic circuit card assemblies (CCA's). These CCA's are a significant part of a military terminal developed by Litton Data Systems offering rugged, lightweight, workstation performance for dismounted soldiers and vehicles.

Commenting on the announcement, Thomas Lovelock, President and CEO of Group Technologies, said, "We are pleased with the confidence that Litton has expressed by selecting us as a significant supplier to this program.
