Unisys awarded $15.7M contract from state department for program support and systems support services

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 1997--Unisys Corp. Tuesday announced that its Federal Systems Division has been awarded a $15.7 million contract for program and systems support services from the Department of State, Office of Foreign Missions (OFM) to support compliance with the 1982 Foreign Missions Act.
The single-award, five-year contract (one-year base period with four one-year options), will provide OFM with program support in the Diplomatic Motor Vehicle, Tax, Custom and Property/Travel programs, as well as systems support for the transition of legacy systems to a client/server relational database management system with state-of-the-art imaging technology.
OFM offices in Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles will be able to take advantage of the services.
Unisys Federal Systems Division has been providing systems support to the State Department for over 10 years.
Unisys team members on the OFM contract are: Aspen Personnel Services, and Systems Engineering and Management Associates.
