Business Wire, May 8, 1997
DUBLIN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 8, 1997--The new name of Borror Corp. (NASDAQ:BORR) is now Dominion Homes Inc. (NASDAQ:DHOM) as ratified by shareholders at the company's annual meeting held May 7.
President and CEO Doug Borror said the company proposed the name change "because our customers identify more strongly with the Dominion Homes name and because it carries the strongest franchise value."
In addition to the name change, shareholders elected Douglas G. Borror, C. Ronald Tilley and Jon M. Donnell as Class I Directors of the company; increased the number of common shares available for award under the company's Incentive Stock Plan by 350,000 shares; and determined that Coopers & Lybrand would continue as the company's auditors for the current fiscal year, which ends Dec. 31, 1997.
Dominion Homes offers three distinct series of homes -- Century, Celebrity and Tradition -- that are differentiated by size, price, standard features and available options. The company's building experience philosophy focuses on "The Best of Everything" for its customers. Dominion Homes, one of the leading home builders in the Columbus market, currently has over 40 locations in the Central Ohio area.
