Magal Security Systems Ltd. Receives Perimeter Security Systems Orders Totaling $3 Million

YAHRUD, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1997--Magal Security Systems, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MAGSF), and its subsidiaries recently received three orders for perimeter security systems, totaling about US $3,000,000. Magal is the leading world wide supplier of security systems with installations throughout the world in 60 countries.
The orders are from three different customers including: the Federal Prisons Authorities in Canada, correctional facilities in Arizona, and the Ministry of Defense in Israel.
Management believes that most of the orders will be shipped and booked in the current year ending December 31, 1997. -0-
Magal Security Systems, Ltd. is engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of computerized security systems which automatically detect, locate and identify the nature of intrusions. Magal also manufactures and markets systems which automatically detect, locate and identify explosive devices in luggage, packages and other parcels. The Company's principal products include a detection system called AISYS, and a video motion detection system called DTS. Magal's products currently are used in more than 60 countries to protect national borders and sensitive facilities from terrorism, theft and other threats.
