Network World Wins 1997 Ozzie Award for Excellence in Magazine Design

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 12, 1997--Network World, the leading newsweekly of enterprise network computing, continuing its mission of editorial excellence, has been honored with a prestigious 1997 Ozzie Award. The Ozzie Awards for Excellence in Magazine Design are presented by Folio: magazine annually during the Celebration of Excellence Gala. Awards were presented Wednesday, October 29th at Manhattan's famous Supper Club.
Network World won a Silver Ozzie award for Best Table of Contents, Trade Publication. Architecture Magazine won the gold in the category, a testament to the high quality publications in the running. Folio: magazine's November 15, 1997 issue will highlight this year's recipients.
"This year the competition was fierce and judging difficult," said Christina Ciavola Dochtermann, Publishing Group Show Director for Cowles Event Management. "Of the 1,100 entrants, winners were chosen in 39 categories by a national panel of industry experts."
