LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 18, 1997--Expanding its reach within the digital photography market, Storm Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:EASY) today announced that its EasyPhoto software is included in Intel Corporation's new 971 PC Camera Kit, which can be utilized by third-party manufacturers to produce affordable, easy-to-use portable PC cameras for home and business consumers. Customized specifically for the Intel 971 Camera Kit, Storm's EasyPhoto 2.8 software lets users easily download, organize, store, enhance and share photos on a PC.

About EasyPhoto 2.8
EasyPhoto enables portable PC camera users to download their photos directly into EasyPhoto Galleries, cataloging photos like electronic photo albums, for fast and simple display and retrieval. To personalize projects, users can drag-and-drop their photos from the EasyPhoto Galleries into any OLE-compliant application. EasyPhoto also lets users perform basic photo editing, cropping and resizing.
Other EasyPhoto 2.8 features include:
-- Support for removable media: Users have the option of storing their photos on removable media such as Zip disks.
-- Support for FlashPix image file format: Users have the option of saving their images in FlashPix (.FPX).
-- Automatic delete and reload: After photos are downloaded into EasyPhoto Galleries, they are automatically deleted from the PC portable camera, allowing users to take more pictures with their cameras.
-- Support for Intel's Flash Miniature Card: Users can download their photos from Flash Miniature Cards, removable electronic film, directly into EasyPhoto Galleries.
-- Special printing options: Users can print their photos either one at a time or in a contact sheet layout.
-- Available in the following languages: U.S. English, U.K. English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
