Kettley Signs Site License Agreement With State Farm
Business Wire, Nov 4, 1997
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1997--Kettley Publishing Tuesday signed a site license agreement with State Farm Insurance for a custom version of its Back Room Technician (BRT) software program for the exclusive use of the insurer's 17,000 agents.
The agreement was made after approval of the program by State Farm's compliance and legal departments.
"The custom version of BRT provides State Farm's agents with a financial library of advanced sales materials that have been compliance-approved by their company. BRT is an effective sales tool that helps them communicate with clients and prospects in practical, easy-to-understand terms," said Bill Staake, Kettley's vice president of marketing.
BRT is a Windows-based software program offering more than 300 ready-made reports that can be personalized and printed in seconds. It enables financial professionals to present complex financial concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language utilizing text pages, numeric analysis, flow charts, diagrams and 3-D color graphs.
In addition to its approval by State Farm's compliance department, Kettley's standard version of BRT was submitted to the National Association of Securities Dealers for compliance with NASD Rules under Article III, Section 35, and SEC Rule 134, and was found to be consistent with applicable standards.
