Micron Internet Services Expands to Serve Spokane, Washington

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1997--Micron Internet Services, a division of Micron Technology, Inc., and the largest Internet service provider in Idaho, today announced the expansion of Micron's Internet access network to include Spokane, Washington. In addition to the City of Spokane, surrounding communities in the new service area include Cheney, Deer Park, Elk, Fairfield, Green Bluff, Latah, Liberty Lake, Loon Lake, Medical Lake, Newman Lake, Reardan, Rockford, Spangle, Sprague and Springdale.

Micron offers Internet opportunities for individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Services include modem and high-speed access, World Wide Web presence management, email and domain name provisions, and Intranet consulting. The service area supports the new 56K modem speed protocol, x2(TM), from U.S. Robotics.

Micron's Net.Now! Internet access CD features Netscape Communication's Navigator(TM) 3.0 for Windows and the Macintosh, and Microsoft's Internet Explorer(TM) 3.0 software for Windows. Each account includes 150 hours of online time as well as 4 email addresses and 5 megabytes storage space for each account's Personal Web Space homepages. The cost is $19.95 monthly.
