License Agreement Reached

PALM DESERT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1997--Dreams Inc. announced today that it has entered into a settlement agreement with Universal Studios Licensing Inc. that resolved all issues and places the license of the "Field of Dreams" name in good standing.
Sam D. Battistone, Dreams Inc. founder and CEO said: "We are delighted with this agreement. We will continue to move forward with our normal business operations which include opening new stores and selling franchises."
The primary focus of "Field of Dreams" is to develop a broad-based retail business in the sports personality and celebrity memorabilia gift business. Presently, there are 25 franchised stores in shopping malls nationwide.
Dreams Inc. stock is traded on the Electronic Bulletin Board market system with the symbol DRMS.
