Hilton Hotels Corp. Acquires the Atlantic City Country Club

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 1997--Hilton Hotels Corp., through its wholly owned subsidiaries Bally's Park Place and the Atlantic City Hilton, has entered into an agreement to purchase the Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield, N.J.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to be completed in January 1998.
Hilton will honor all 1997/98 membership arrangements through their expiration. The new owners also intend to honor all firm commitments for banquet functions.
Located on approximately 170 acres, the Atlantic City Country Club recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and is rich in golf history. In addition to the 18-hole golf course, the facility features a driving range and clubhouse.
