Casio, Inc. Selects InMedia Presentations' Slides & Sound Plus to Ship With QV-700 Digital Cameras

VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 1997--INMEDIA (ME: IMD) InMedia Presentations Inc., a consumer digital imaging software development company of Vancouver, B.C., announced today that Casio, Inc. selected InMedia's Slides & Sound Plus for Windows and Macintosh to bundle with shipments of their new QV-700 digital camera.
Casio, Inc.'s latest digital camera, the QV-700, will be available in retail stores in October 1997 at an estimated street price of $599. The QV-700 features a built-in three-mode flash that includes automatic, fill-in and off; enhanced picture/portrait editing functions, including consecutive shooting, interval photographing and portrait composition. The QV-700 also features a large 2.5" LCD screen and 2MB of removable flash memory.
InMedia's Slides & Sound Plus enables users of Casio digital cameras to optimize their digital images and use them to create exciting multimedia presentations. Casio continues to accelerate its development and distribution of consumer digital cameras and InMedia's products are strategically positioned to capitalize on the rapid growth of consumer digital imaging.
