CorVu Corporation and Noetix Enter Agreement to Provide Performance Management and Business Intelligence Solutions for Oracle Financials and Manufacturing Applications

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1997--CorVu Corporation, a leading provider of integrated business intelligence and performance management solutions, and Noetix Corporation, a provider of views for Oracle Financial and Manufacturing applications, announced today an Alliance Partner relationship. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will cooperate to provide Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions for Oracle Applications customers.

Noetix views takes the information from a corporation's internal database and organizes it in a set of user-friendly, plug-and-play business views that combine information on a given business topic. CorVu's Performance Management System, an extension of its integrated Business Intelligence Suite, offers strategic performance measurement capability combined with multidimensional analysis of data. Traditionally, performance measurement applications entail extensive custom programming. In contrast, CorVu's alliance with Noetix will facilitate the delivery of performance scorecard templates for the Oracle Applications community. Additional customization of these performance templates is achieved with CorVu through a series of Windows Wizards.
