Access Solutions and PaperClip Software Announce Re-marketer Agreement with First Colony Life Insurance

PaperClip's Electronic Data Exchange (EDX) Provides New
Breakthrough In Document Management Technology
Access Solutions International Inc. (NASDAQ: ASIC) announced today that is has entered into a Re-marketer agreement with First Colony Life Insurance Co., a GE Capital Services company.
First Colony Life will offer the PaperClip Document Management Suite as an integrated component of the life insurance brokerage agency management systems that First Colony offers to its customers: p.d.,q. and p.d.,q. 2000.
PaperClip's "Clipping" technology will provide programming-less integration of the PaperClip Document Management Suite with First Colony's legacy AS/400 based p.d.,q. system as well as with the new Oracle based client/server system p.d.,q. 2000. P.d.,q. customers will be able to migrate to p.d.,q. 2000 without having to replace their document management system. The PaperClip Document Management product line is year 2000 compliant.
Access Solutions International Inc. further announced a new open standard called Electronic Document Exchange (EDX). EDX will allow First Colony Life General Agencies with p.d,q. and PaperClip to exchange document images, COLD and other digital objects in a many-to-many trading partner relationship with any other EDX compliant systems over TCP/IP based networks.
