Canon Acquires West Coast Design Engineering Show; Co-location with Medical Design & Manufacturing West 98 Announced

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Sept. 24, 1997--Canon Communications LLC, the leading magazine publisher and trade-show producer serving the high-technology and medical-product- manufacturing industries, has recently acquired the PACIFIC DESIGN ENGINEERING show from Exposition Excellence Corp. (EEC) in Connecticut.

Introduced in 1995, the PACIFIC DESIGN ENGINEERING show is the only comprehensive event serving the West Coast's dynamic design, process and manufacturing marketplace. Its recently announced co-location with Canon's successful Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West show positions the resulting mega design-engineering event at the heart of the region's manufacturing power -- Orange County, Calif.

MD&M West 98 and PACIFIC DESIGN ENGINEERING will take place Jan. 20-22, 1998, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
