Zi Corporation Announces Agreement With Arm

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1997--Zi Corp(TSE, Alberta Stock Exchange ZIC., NASDAQ ZICAF. ) Zi Corporation (TSE: ZIC; NASDAQ: ZICAF) is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) to market, distribute and sub-license the Zi Corporation Chinese character-based language processing technology.
Under this agreement Zi technology is expected to become available to major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide for integration into small devices and appliances, principally Information/Internet Appliances (commonly referred to as IAs) such as cell phones, HPCs (hand held computers), Set Top Boxes and Internet TVs.
