911 Air Rescue Lifts Microsoft Flight Sim 95 & 98 to New Heights

Business Wire, Sept 8, 1997

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1997--Head Games Publishing announced today that it has begun shipping a new game for Microsoft Flight Sim 6.0 and 98 that pits flying skills against the clock, gas-tank capacity, and stategic cunning. Players stretch their flying finesse during a forty-minute mission by landing either a Cessna 414 twin, Cessna 182 single or Dash 8 300 Rescue Air Ambulance in the most difficult terrain to rescue people in Simville USA for a bounty. Time of day, weather conditions and rescue site are determined randomly, including instrument flying, to make this a pilot's ultimate challenge.

According to Dan Hammett, Head Games president, "As a game, 911Air Rescue gives Flight Sim players a different way to enjoy flying. Scenery/terrain/surprise combinations provide a variety of unique rescue scenarios in eight different locations for unlimited hours of aviation skill-building fun."

The Pilot's Handbook contains information on special keys used, default aircraft and flying tips. Each game also includes a map and registration card. Minimum system requirements are 486 CPU, 16M RAM, CD drive, monitor, graphics card, Win 95, and Microsoft Flight Sim 6.0.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Head Games Publishing is a developer and marketer of high-quality CD-ROM interactive entertainment software for the PC. For more information about the compa0
