Business Wire, Sept 9, 1997
PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1997--Brio Technology, Inc., the enterprise business intelligence company, today announced that Brio Enterprise will support Microsoft's specification for OLE DB for OLAP, a single object-oriented access method for a wide range of data stores. Expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 1997, the OLE DB for OLAP represents Microsoft's efforts towards publishing an industry-wide standard API for multi-dimensional data access.
