Business Wire, August 21, 1998

OXNARD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 1998--Luminart Corp. (OTC BB:LUMP) ("Luminart") announced today that the Company's Internet site, www.luminartcorp.com, is available for e-commerce and now offers on-line processing of orders for the Company's proprietary Luminite gel lines and Luminite dispensing tables.

Luminart is a sales and marketing company dedicated to the sale of its proprietary Luminite gel, a flexible compound used in the production of point of purchase advertising signs. Luminite is a translucent gel that, when applied to a variety of backgrounds and either front or backlit, adds dimension, elevated character and graphics to newand existing lighted signs at a fraction of the cost of other lighting methods.

Luminart competes in the $160 billion a year worldwide sign industry and expects to capitalize on new laws governing the display of neon signs. The Company anticipates revenues of $5 million by September 1999.

Michael Reynolds, President and CEO of Luminart, explained, "We projected in our business summary that we would have an on line ordering system in place by September 1998 and we are proud to say that we have met our goal. Our doors are now open to conduct business internationally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to effectively support the operators of the more than 300 Luminite dispensing tables worldwide. We currently stock over 20,000 tubes of gel in every color and size to ensure same day shipment. A key component of our industry marketing strategy will be the Luminite dispensing table operator's instant accessibility to every size and color of gel with immediate product delivery."

The site, www.luminartcorp.com, includes an order form for consumers, an online version of its corporate profile with accompanying financial information, product descriptions and corporate contact information. The Company will also add a technical support section to the site to further support table operators. Management projects the technical support section to be on-line by September 10, 1998.

Mr. Reynolds recently returned from Europe where he met with existing distributors and entered into negotiations with a European company to continue to manufacture and distribute Luminart products.
