Business Wire, August 24, 1998
SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1998--Datapoint Corporation announced today that its common stock and preferred stock is now quoted on the National Association of Securities Dealers' Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board, effective August 24, 1998.
Datapoint Corporation's common stock is quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol DTPT, and its preferred stock is quoted under the symbol DTPTP. Datapoint is making arrangements for the quoting of its subordinated debentures, as the Bulletin Board does not quote debt instruments.
Datapoint announced earlier this month that its securities will no longer be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DPT, effective at the end of business Friday, August 21, 1998. The NYSE's decision was an administrative event for Datapoint and does not reflect any material change in Datapoint's financial health.
