Canon Canada's OE Division in Discussions to Exclusively Distribute YARC's XP-600e Color Server

NEWBURY PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1998--YARC Systems Corp. (OTC BB:YARC) Friday reported that it was in discussions with the OE (Office Equipment) division of Canon Canada to exclusively distribute the YARC XP-600e Color Server in Eastern Canada.

A formal announcement regarding the scope of any alliance will be be made in the very near future.

The OE division of Canon Canada is North America's largest office-equipment distributor, with offices in Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

"Until recently, YARC has only been seen as a supplier to the high-end of the digital printing industry," said Dr. Trevor Marshall, chairman and chief executive officer of YARC.
