RoweCom, Inc. Announces Filing of Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 14, 1998--RoweCom, Inc. today announced the filing of a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering by RoweCom of its Common Stock. All of the shares to be registered will be offered by RoweCom, Inc. J.P. Morgan & Co. is the lead manager of the offering and CIBC Oppenheimer Corp. and Volpe Brown Whelan & Co. are co-managers.
