Computer Associates Global Professional Services Taps Senior Executive for Top Education Services Post

Terri Seppala To Head Fast-Growing Unit
Computer Associates Global Professional Services (GPS) today named top executive Terri Seppala as senior vice president and general manager for education services.
Seppala is responsible for sales, marketing, operations and development for all CA's education products and services worldwide. She reports to GPS Executive Vice President Chris Wagner.
Seppala comes to CA from Oracle Corporation, where she was vice president for Oracle Education, Americas Division. During her tenure, Oracle Education became one of the largest IT training organizations in the world, consistently posting strong revenue growth and maintaining a very high market share in a highly competitive environment.
"Terri Seppala has a proven track record in building world-class training organizations and marketing their services effectively to corporate IT," said Wagner. "As CA continues to broaden the scope of the services we're offering, our ability to support customers' IT efforts with results-oriented training resources will be a major selling point for GPS."
Prior to Oracle, Seppala held senior positions in consumer products and life sciences sectors at 3M Company and in professional services and courseware operations at Control Data Corporation.

Seppala has held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota and chaired the Board of Directors of Group Health, Inc., one of the largest non-profit HMOs in the United States. She holds a Masters Degree in curriculum design and instruction from the University of Minnesota.
