Graham Named President of Litton's Sperry Marine Inc. Subsidiary

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 1998--Litton (NYSE:LIT) Friday announced that Dr. Clark "Corky" Graham, age 56, will succeed Paul David Miller as president of Sperry Marine Inc. effective Dec. 23, 1998.

In this capacity, Graham will oversee the companies comprising Litton Marine Systems. Miller is leaving Litton to join Alliant Techsystems Inc.

Graham joined Sperry Marine in July 1994 as a product line manager. Shortly thereafter, Graham was appointed to the position of vice president of engineering for the division. In that position, his responsibilities included all design, prototyping, technical engineering, software engineering, and internal research and development for the division.

Most recently, Graham served as managing director of Litton Marine Systems, B.V. In this position, he oversaw the radar center of excellence from Litton Marine Systems, B.V. headquarters in New Malden, England.

Prior to joining Litton, Graham completed a 30-year career with the U.S. Navy attaining the rank of Captain. His naval career included assignments as director of research and development for Naval Sea Systems Command in 1991, commander of the David Taylor Research Institute in 1987, and an appointment as professor of Naval Construction at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston in 1984.

Graham received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from MIT in 1969, following graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1964.
