Intermedia Business Internet Selects FaxStorm for New Internet-Based Fax Service

NetCentric FaxStorm Internet Fax System to Be Platform
for Intermedia Messenger Fax Service
NetCentric Corporation today announced that Intermedia Communications, Inc. has selected NetCentric's FaxStorm(TM) Internet fax system as the platform for its new enhanced Internet fax service called Intermedia Messenger Fax. Using FaxStorm, Intermedia Business Internet (formerly DIGEX Business Internet Solutions) will provide IP-based (Internet Protocol) enhanced fax services to complement its existing high-speed Internet solutions for businesses. Intermedia Messenger Fax will be available in the first quarter of 1999.
With Intermedia Messenger Fax, businesses can send and receive faxes from computer desktops, email systems, the Web and conventional fax equipment. It also enables enhanced fax services such as self-managed fax broadcasting, fax machine to email delivery and fax-on-demand for commercial Web sites.
