IDG's InfoWorld Names Bob Maund Senior Vice President, Publishing Director

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1998--InfoWorld, the enterprising computing newsweekly, today announced that Bob Maund, formerly Associate Publisher/IT at Fortune Magazine, joined the company as Senior Vice President, Publishing Director.
In his new role, Maund will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing efforts and for driving all advertising revenue.

Maund brings well over 15 years of industry experience to InfoWorld. Prior to joining the company, Maund was Associate Publisher/IT at Fortune. In this role, he grew technology category revenue by 15 percent as well as created and launched the Technology Buyer's Guide, Fortune's leading technology supplement. During his 12 year career at Fortune, Maund held various sales management positions including Associate Publisher and Associate Ad Director. Maund began his career in sales at Proctor and Gamble. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a BBA degree in marketing.
