"Radio Disney Queen for Day Celebrates With Santa!"

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1998--Radio Disney Winner Stephanie Valverde celebrated her reign with Santa Claus at her home in Redwood City.
Queen Stephanie won the "Queen for a Day" contest from Radio Disney and KMKY AM-1310's Street Team brought Santa Claus on a special visit to celebrate. KMKY's Street Team, the local Radio Disney affiliate, brought cookies and milk, toys and balloons for each of Queen Stephanie's seven brothers and sisters and her friends.
The magic was in the air when Jolly Old St. Nick arrived in the Mickey Mobile and the kids were awestruck as they received their own toy and candy cane. Cindy Nettles, Stephanie's mom, was overjoyed and overwhelmed at the sight of this very special day - one of the most abundant this large family has ever seen.
