BURBANK, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Dec. 24, 1998--Production has been completed on "Michelle Kwan Skates to Disney's Greatest Hits."

Shooting at CBS Studios in Los Angeles, the one-hour special is scheduled to air in February on ABC. Olympic Gold Medalists Ilia Kulik and Oksana Baiul as well as two-time Olympic Silver Medalist and three-time World Champion Elvis Stojko join Kwan, the two-time world and national champion and Olympic Silver Medalist, in the ice-stravaganza.

In a special Internet survey through Disney.com in November, fans had the rare opportunity to actually take part in the special by voting for their all-time favorite Disney songs. The Top 10 tunes as decided by this poll will be revealed countdown style throughout the special, with Kwan skating to the No. 1 song.

In addition to the Top 10, Kwan and the world class skaters joining her will treat the audience to exciting performances to songs from such popular films as "The Little Mermaid" and "The Lion King," among others. A special swing segment will feature jazzy versions of songs from "The Jungle Book" and "The Aristocats," which will be accompanied by the band Billy & the Beaters.

"Michelle Kwan Skates to Disney's Greatest Hits" is produced by Chloe Productions in association with Buena Vista Television. Emmy Award-winner Steve Binder ("`Beauty & the Beast': A Concert on Ice," "Reflections on Ice: Michelle Kwan Skates to the Music of Disney's `Mulan'") executive produces and directs from a script by Stephen Pouliot with Gregory Sills as producer. Sarah Kawahara is the choreographer.
