Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey on behalf of all purchasers of the common stock of Cylink Corp. (Nasdaq:CYLK) ("Cylink" or the "Company") from Feb. 12, 1998 through Dec. 16, 1998, inclusive (the "Class Period").

The complaint charges Cylink and certain of its officers and directors with violating Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by engaging in a fraudulent scheme and course of business to artificially inflate the market price of Cylink's securities by making misrepresentations and omissions of material fact concerning Cylink's publicly reported revenues, earnings, financial condition and growth prospects.
