Unicorp Announces New Capital Structure; 1997 Filings Will Be Entered Through SEC's EDGAR Filing System

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1998--Unicorp, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board Symbol UNICD) announced today its new capital structure, 1997 10-KSB filings will be entered through the Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR filing system. Subsequent material events will also be disclosed through an 8-K filing will also be filed.
Unicorp, Inc. purchased approximately 58,000 tons of fluid catalytic cracking catalyst (FCC Catalyst) which is used in the refining and petrochemical industry. The material will be used for hydrocracking and blending in refineries that are to be acquired or held for resale to existing catalyst vendors or refineries.
The Company has entered into letters of intent to acquire a private distributor of refined petroleum products in Yuma, Ariz. with approximately $70 Million in current revenues. Additionally, a 17,000 barrel per day refinery which operates in the Southwestern United States. Additional opportunities in the refining and distribution markets are currently being examined. Unicorp Inc. expects that it will qualify under the United States Fuel Center's small and disadvantaged refinery for the sale of diesel and jet fuel to the military.
