Compaq and RightFAX to Deliver New Fax Server Solution to Resellers

TUCSON, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 1998--RightFAX Inc., a subsidiary of Applied Voice Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:AVTC) and the leading developer of advanced fax server software, announced today that it is joining forces with Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ), the world's leading server vendor, to provide winning fax server solutions to resellers in North America.
The companies are delivering a set of tools to help resellers identify, qualify and specify RightFAX fax server software on Compaq servers that meet the faxing needs of organizations connected to a LAN/WAN/Internet/Intranet.

The companies have published a Reseller Guide, at http://www.rightfax.com/Compaq/guide.htm, to help resellers to understand the business opportunity that network/enterprise faxing presents, as well as to equip resellers with tools to sell the combined RightFAX and Compaq solution.
RightFAX has created a specific software SKU that includes an Installation Guide to assist resellers or network administrators with connections to existing telephone systems. Each component of the solution from RightFAX and Compaq is available through existing reseller channels.
