BINGHAMTON, New York--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 6, 1998--New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG) announced today that its Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of shares of its common stock. The company plans to repurchase the shares from time to time as market conditions warrant.
