Remarking on the expansion into North America, Stuart Thurlby, Manager Director of Theorem Solutions in the UK, states that the decision to open the new headquarters is based in part on the company's sustained sales growth in North America, and is also based on strong industry indicators that point to the continued demand for data conversion solutions.

Mr. McFeeters, who sold Theorem Solutions software as a reseller, explains, "With a dedicated marketing arm in the U.S., we will be able to provide a higher level of support to end users and vendors alike. In addition, we'll be ready to promote the advanced new products coming out soon which will aid designers and product development managers in their jobs."

Theorem Solutions Ltd was formed in 1990 to develop application software products using Direct Database conversion and International Standards based conversion methods in order to significantly improve the ease and quality of data exchange for CAD/CAM users. The company is recognized today as one of the leaders in the field of CAD/CAM Data Exchange, working closely with such CAD companies as Autodesk, Computervision/Parametric Technology, Inc., EDS Unigraphics, IBM (Dassault Systemes), ICEM Systems, SDRC, Solidworks and Spatial Technology.

Theorem's users cover the entire mechanical design sector but primarily fall into the automotive and aerospace industries. Among its customers are BMW, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Saab, Volvo, Allied Signal, Boeing, Hughes and Northrup Grumman.

Recent product developments at Theorem include an advancement in the repair and healing of Solid Models, resolving differences in tolerance and precision of different explicit solid modelers. The company is also applying this healing technology to its STEP products.
