Gateway 2000 Selects NVIDIA RIVA 128ZX; 3D Graphics Processor Offered in the G-Series and GP-Series of Desktops

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1998--NVIDIA(R) Corporation announced today that Gateway 2000 (NYSE:GTW), a leading global manufacturer of build-to-order personal computer systems, will be using the RIVA 128ZX(TM) 3D graphics processor in their G-Series of consumer PC solutions and GP-Series of small business PC solutions.

This new 8MB-AGP version of the Velocity 128, from STB Systems, Inc., provides industry leading 3D performance, in addition to 2D and video acceleration, for the mainstream PC market.
